Frequently asked questions.

Do I need a GP referral to see a Chiropractor?

No. Chiropractors are primary healthcare practitioners so no referral is necessary.

Can I use my private health insurance?

Yes. If you are covered for Chiropractic as part of your extras cover, then you can claim a rebate for the treatment. Each health fund differs in regards to what proportion of the treatment they cover.

Do you have onsite health fund claiming and EFTPOS?

Yes.

​

Do I need X-rays before I see a Chiropractor?

No. If you have X-rays or other scans it is helpful to bring those along to the appointment. If X-rays are required the Chiropractor can refer you to get one.

Do I need X-rays before I begin treatment?

Not necessarily. The Chiropractor will determine depending on your particular complaint and medical history if X-rays are necessary.

Will I be treated on the first visit?

The Chiropractor's aim is to always begin treatment on the first visit. There are some odd occasions where the Chiropractor will not begin treatment in circumstances where safety is a concern.

Do you accept EPC and DVA referrals?

Yes. Please bring the necessary paperwork to your appointment.

Where should I park?

If there is room in the driveway without parking any body in, parking there is fine. Otherwise there is plenty of street parking.

Does this clinic operate any differently because it is at a place of residence?
No. This clinic is purpose built for Chiropractic and you can expect all the regular workings of any other clinic.

What Should I do when I arrive?

Come Straight in and sit in the waiting area. The Chiropractor will come and get you from there.

Can I receive Chiropractic if I have Arthritis?

Yes. Chiropractors commonly treat patients with Arthritis.

Can I receive Chiropractic if I am Pregnant?

Yes. Chiropractors commonly treat patients who are pregnant.
